It is important that the horse receives sufficient fibre as hay, chaff or pasture to ensure good hindgut digestive physiology. Ensure that at least one and a half percent of the horses body weight is provided as fibre from hay, chaff or pasture. Feed in as many feeds as possible, but no less than two feeds per day. Allow free access to feed ensuring stale or uneaten food is removed daily. Water should be freely available. Salt is provided at good levels in Ultra to meet electrolyte requirements.
